Funmi is 44 years old, lives in the ward and is the owner of Funmi Afro in Lynn Road. She is a single mother of two children who are both at university.

She understands how difficult it is to live on a low income but she believes that no one is too old to learn, that we all deserve a second chance and that the most important thing is never to give up.
