The Association and its branches hold regular social and political functions throughout the year. You do not have to be a member of the Party or the branch to attend these, your support is always welcomed and this is a good way to have fun and get to know new people.
Branch Functions:
The diary dates are updated regularly and tell you what is planned over the coming months. For further details or to make a booking, please contact the number listed or the Conservative office on 01354 652295.
Association Events:
The main function each year is our Autumn Ball. It is normally held in November and is hugely popular with all ages. This event has been a sell out for the last two years. To make a reservation call Debbie on 01354 652295.
Ladies Luncheon Club:
This club for ladies only meets approximately 4 times a year at different restaurants throughout the constituency. The emphasis is on good food. For further details contact Janet Stott on 01945-588160.
Conservative Policy Forum:
The Conservative Policy Forum is a means by which Party members' views are sought on the important issues of the day and brought to the attention of the Party leadership. The CPF plays a vital role within the Party and is at the heart of our policy renewal process.Since its re-launch in January 2002, briefs on a range of issues have been prepared, including health, transport, youth crime, education, pensions, the environment and business and regulation. Some extremely useful and important views have been fed into the leadership.
The group holds regular meetings and if you wish to take part please indicate on the membership form by ticking the box “Attending Political Discussion Groups”.
